WORKSHOPS, EVENTS & TRAVEL
This page is where we announce upcoming special events or workshops at La Domaine and our plans
to travel to other places. Special events can take many forms including workshops, lectures,
demos and special guests. When traveling, we may be visiting friends in far-off places, heading
to Albany for a party, or attending a kinky event near you. In announcing such plans we often
invite fans who live near our destination to come meet us there.
Friends and fans should check this page to stay abreast of sudden and planned happenings at La Domaine.
FEB. 4, 2012 - 7 P.M.
THE RED WINE
&
MEAT DINNER
Here we go again!!! Our dinners have been met with the highest accolades. Last winter, in the middle of the winter, we did THE BORDEAUX AND MEAT DINNER. We served five courses, each with a great Bordeaux. We had so many requests to do this dinner again, that we will, in the middle of this winter. What better time than mid-winter for a RED WINE AND MEAT DINNER!
This year the theme will be great red wines from around the world. They will all be selected from the finest wines in the La Domaine cellar. There will be a great Cote De Rhone, something absolutely spectacular from somewhere in Spain, a stunner from Italy, a remarkable wine from Chile, of course one brilliant Bordeaux from an equally brilliant vintage, and a dazzling wine from New York State... Just kidding on NYS, someday maybe…but we will have a dazzling wine from somewhere in the US. We are leaning towards one of the 100 point wines from Oregon. Incidentally, all the wines we are considering are rated at least 96 points. As wine master Robert Parker puts it in explaining the point system: “96 - 100: An extraordinary wine of profound and complex character displaying all the attributes of a classic wine. Wines of this caliber are worth a special effort to find, purchase and consume.” We welcome you to share in some of the 96-100 wines found in the Esemar cellar.
The food, oh the food…Our plans are to savor the full rich blood of meat in winter. Rare Sage-rubbed Buffalo, dripping red seasoned Duck Breast, Master R’s classic Venison Stew, a yet to be decided new dish designed specifically for one of the wine selections, and– back by popular demand – repeated from last year – there is nothing like it - Fabbit! Are you ready?
Just the facts: an extraordinary dinner and a tasting of five of the finest wines in the world, served in a dungeon by naked slaves.
Date: February 4, 2012. Cost $125 a person.
We are accepting a very small number of reservations this year. Dinner is being limited to twelve guests. Reserve ASAPASAP.
Yes! There is a party afterwards. Instead of the usual $125 a couple party fee, the party will be $75 if you are attending the dinner. Instead of the usual $350 an individual party fee, the party will be $300 if attending the dinner.
If you feel these prices are more than you can afford, yet you deeply desire –pant pant - to be here, please be candid with us. We can work something out.
Summary: Twelve lucky people will consume five of the finest wines from around the world, each served with a winter’s dish that will further enhance the experience of drinking this caliber wine, while enjoying the camaraderie of Fine Mistresses, Masters and slaves and the ambiance of a dinner in the La Domaine dungeon. Then we party…

LA DOMAINE'S EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM
As many of you know, Mistress Collette and Master R have done a variety of class
presentations at SUNY Albany for their Psych department over the past three years. We hold
very open and freewheeling classes, sometimes for small groups of fifteen or twenty
students in a class, sometimes for big mobs that have exceeded two hundred in a large
lecture hall. In every situation, the presentations have been enormously successful. We
always make them open to the public, so if you would like to attend our next class please
give us a call.
Also, if you know of colleges or universities where you think we should be presenting,
please let us know. Connections to specific professors do help.
Mistress Collette and Master R are also available occasionally in the Syracuse NY area.
Please contact us for dates.
March 30 AT 7 PM
SUNY POTSDAM
Mistress Collette and Master R will be speaking at SUNY Potsdam. This will be one of their amazing
free-wheeling BDSM question and answer lectures that covers just about anything the audience would
like to know. These talks are frequently called “the best class I have attended at college” by the
student bodies who participate. Open to the general public – but you must let us know that you would
like to attend for the location information.
Email contact is fine for this event. Contact Mistress Collette at: MistressCollette@LaDomaine.com
A Special Day From 2008 That You Missed
A VERY SPECIAL EVENT:
OUR SECOND SCHWANENDREHER!!!
SCHWANENDREHER: THE FETISH NAME FOR ROASTING A LIVING PERSON ON A SPIT
From the Mid-German.
Schwan - swan
dreher - the person who turns the swan on the spit.
Many years ago, one of the world’s great sadists, The Baroness, asked us
to roast her slave named elvis. The experience of being roasted alive had
been a lifelong craving for elvis. After much research into the nature of
the fetish and the safety issues, we decided to proceed. On a stunning
October day, on a custom designed spit, we did it. It was one of the most
powerful days in the long history of La Domaine. As soon as elvis was on
the spit, a primitive lust swept away all the participants in the event.
The sexuality of it all seemed ancient and ingrained. It immediately
became obvious to the Mistresses, Masters and naked slaves who took turns
turning the spit why the fetish was named for the dreher, not the swan,
although in this case it was the swan who had voiced the initial desire.
Several months after the roast, as word of the event began to spread into
the BDSM world, we had a phone call from another schwanendreher fetishist,
who also, like elvis, had a life-long desire to be roasted. Actually, we
had numerous calls, but this one slave, bob, seemed incredibly sincere and
serious. However, it just did not work out. Now, years later, slave bob has
been back in touch, and we are thrilled to announce that once again, the
fires will be lit, the coals will be piled, the delicious baste will be
prepared and we will have another opportunity to savor one of our most
primitive genetic encodings.
